This is one of my regular routes. Yes, it definitely gets a lot of ridership as it serves OSU campus, the Short North, and downtown. This is one of the reasons I like to take the #4 instead, it's not nearly as crowded and doesn't have to go through campus. Going north is better from where I get on (High and Kelso).
And yes, it's one of the routes where light rail is most frequently mentioned.
